POST 7 - THE ARCHITECT I ADMIRE

During the last three months of the career, I have been able to meet the name of different famous architects in differents course. Lina Bo Bardi has been one of the architects that I have discussed the most about his career and work done. 

Lina born in Roma 1914, She was a noted architect, designer, political activist, curator, writer, and editor. The points that have caused me admiration as a person and as a professional are female representation that has in the world of the architecture, as his vision of the architecture as a discipline inseparable from its social condition.

There are two law enforcement jobs that fully present Lina's ideas. The first, the Museum of Sao Paulo located in the central Paulista Avenue, this was an emblematic project of modern architecture in Brazil and the second, the SESC Pompéia, an example of how a building can be integrated into the life of the city and not upside down.

Post 6- The Best Holidays

Most vacations with my family we take walks in the mountain or lake, it´s a beautiful experience in which we take advantage of sharing among ourselves and enjoying nature. In February, during last summer we went to Los Bellotos Park, it was a day trip to disconnect from the city.

The place had a beautiful route whith beautiful views of the landscape, with the mountain range and the presence of native vegetation everywhere, at the same time it presented transparent pools and waterfalls in which we can swim, although being mountain water It was quite cold even though it was summer, so we relaxed in addition to the abundant heat that it was on those days.

Due to the quarantine, we had not made trips in a long time, so i really enjoyed the trip, despite being a quiet trip and without much planning. Perhaps it was not the most beautiful place I traveled or the farthest, but definitely it was nice to travel again as a family.

                                               

Post 5- Japanese architecture

I will talk about 19th and 20th century Japanese architecture. An analysis from the Studio Ghibli scenarios.

The aim is to show through one studio ghibli films, how architecture in cinematic fictions contributes to the representation of a cultural framework that can account for an existing reality, mixed with fantasy, which allows us to reinterpret "the existing" in a more complete way, generating both conceptual and formal connections and thus reworking the understanding of the world and, in turn, of architecture.

The open plans present recognizable elements, sometimes being reliable references of existing architectural elements, which in the open plans lose apparent protagonism, remaining in a certain latency in the development of the story, but ready for new reinterpretations.

MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO
A total of 167 photomontages were observed, showing architectural elements. Of these frames, 80 show the house where the Kusakabe family lives, and the rest show other elements of the village where the main characters live.

Architectural problems: It is similar to that possessed by dwellings in Japan. The "cultural houses" have a de-rooted aesthetic, which is adaptable and adoptable, but in that process it becomes alien and unknown by being censored from the canonical history of Japanese architecture, and it is exotic and even fantastic for the Japanese.

History, the way of living and architecture are closely related to culture since the beginning of time. This could be seen in the film in relation to the theme of traditional housing, the process of incorporation of the architectural avant-garde and the way in which it begins to reflect on the Japanese way of living.

This picture was taken be me this year. When I went out with my friends and We had a whole afternoon together .

Two weeks ago I went with my friend to the museum of fine arts. We take many pictures of the painting works and after watch all of  the museum, We went to a very beautiful Cafe. I had a great time with them and it was a very beautiful day. For this reason I like this picture, because it is a memory of  a moment that  is so special for me. I remember it as one of my first go outs with my friends.

It was very difficult to choose a picture of this beautiful moment for me, because we really take too many pictures and I love them all. Some of the pictures were of my friends recreating the paintings, others of us and also too many of the place we visited. 

My Favourite Movie

 My favourite movie since I was child is "Howl's Moving Castle". I have many reasons for considering this movie my preferred.First of all the studio that makes the film is one of my favorites, other important point is the gender (adventure, drama, fantasy  and romance), the history and the character.

The movies that I usually like it are adventure, drama, romance and fantasy. Furthermore the movies I watch are usually from books I read or recommendations from friends.

The most recent movie that I saw is "The Tale of the Princess Kaguya". I totally recommend it, since it is more than an animated movie, because it show a criticism towards the field or superficiality.

The times I watch movies is when I organize my room and clean. Also when I'm with friends, my family or my boyfriend, I like it saw movies with them.

My Favourite Piece of Technology

My favourite piece of technology is my computer, i got two years ago when i entered this university. I use it in different ways, it is very usefull. i use it mainly when i study, to search for information, to make blogs and presentations for subjects like english, "PHS", urban susteinability, morphology and classical architecture culture. I also use it in my free time for watch movies and series, read e-books, chat with my friends and play a lot of games like among us, The sims 4 and minecraft, those are my favourites PC games.

I use my computer everyday, i can say it is almost part of my life. I love my computer because i can use it for many things, and for whatever i need, i will have my PC to help me. 

If i have not a computer by hand, my life would be much more difficult, especially when i study.

How I chose my career

 

My dream jobs when I am a child is naval officer, this profession for my is so interesting and for much time I try apply in the academy Naval for officer of Valparaíso. The things that I like about this profession is the dedication, the history, the academy, the field sports and the marriage with the ocean. This profession is one option at the moment of applying to university , for second option I had architecture and I don´t had a other options that these. I finally decide study architecture because my other option they didn’t chose me, for my medical test.

  Although the career that study now is not my one option, in this moment I am happy for all the experience university: the establishment, the schoolmate, the learning.

The kind of job I would like to have in a future is desing of inside, I am so interesting of have my own workshop and i can develop my creativity.
